BARBES DE CHAT
Observing clouds is understanding the wind. In France, long and wispy clouds are called barbes de chat — cat whiskers. A good observer can tell that, when there are barbes de chat in the sky, an upcoming warm front followed by rain are approaching over the next hours. Barbes de chat are clouds scientifically known as cirrus by the International Cloud Atlas and are the highest in the sky.
This belongs to a project called Do outro lado da colina (on the other side of the hill), which is a place where you can follow your curiosity and learn about things with a ludic enjoyment.
