The moon rabbit
If you look up at the dark markings on a full moon, you might see a rabbit. This phenomenon, known as pareidolia, is the same that sees faces in electrical outlets and shapes in clouds. Stories about the moon rabbit exist in many places in the world. The oldest recorded one comes from China, which spread across Asia and won its own version in other countries. There are also stories about this mythical figure between some indigenous peoples from Mesoamerica. And some say that only the ones in love can actually see it.
This belongs to a Brazilian project called Do outro lado da colina (on the other side of the hill), which is a place where you can follow your curiosity and learn about things in a ludic way.
